Lebanon, NH – Authorities are asking for the public’s help after a Silver Alert was issued Saturday morning for a missing 72-year-old man from Lebanon, New Hampshire.
According to the New Hampshire State Police, the alert was activated at the request of the Lebanon Police Department after Louis McCoy was reported missing. Police say McCoy was last seen at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2025, when he left the Home Depot at 296 Plainfield Road in Lebanon. Investigators believe he is traveling on foot.
McCoy is described as 5’10”, weighing 170 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue Adidas hooded sweatshirt, and dark boots.
Family members told police that McCoy suffers from dementia, which has raised additional concern for his safety.
The Lebanon Police Department and New Hampshire State Police are urging residents in the area to be on alert. Authorities say anyone who may have seen McCoy or has information about his whereabouts should contact the Lebanon Police Department immediately at (603) 448-1212. In an emergency, residents are asked to call 911.
Silver Alerts are issued in New Hampshire for missing adults who are considered vulnerable due to age, health conditions, or cognitive impairment. Officials stress that quick public awareness is often critical in locating individuals safely.
Community members are encouraged to check home security cameras and remain alert in neighborhoods, shopping areas, and wooded paths near the Plainfield Road corridor.
