Colder temperatures and wind gusts up to 20 mph will accompany the system before clearing skies return by the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected before 4 p.m. on Thursday, followed by snow at higher elevations. Snow levels will hover around 5,500 feet, with minor accumulations possible. Winds will shift northwest at 10 mph, with gusts reaching 20 mph in some areas.

By Thursday night, snow chances drop to 20% before skies gradually clear. Friday will bring sunny conditions with a high of 46°F and light winds around 5 mph, offering a much-needed break from the stormy weather.

Looking ahead, the weekend will see a warming trend, with highs reaching 53°F on Saturday and 60°F by Sunday. Overnight temperatures will remain cold, dipping into the low 20s. Another system could bring rain and snow by Monday, with snow levels dropping as low as 4,600 feet.
