LAS VEGAS — Parking fees have become a permanent part of the modern Las Vegas travel experience.

Paid parking is now standard at most major Strip resorts, as it has become a new revenue stream and a way to manage congestion. The shift began in 2016 following MGM Resorts International’s decision to start charging visitors for parking on the Strip. Now, most major operators, such as Bellagio, Aria, and Caesars Palace, charge for parking.

As of March 3, 2026, several properties still offer free parking, including Treasure Island, Resorts World Las Vegas, SAHARA Las Vegas, and Circus Circus Hotel and Casino.

Paid parking can cost up to $25 per day, with prices surging during major events like the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. To save on parking costs, some resorts offer free three-hour parking for locals, members, and travelers. Places on the Strip that offer this policy include Bellagio Hotel & Casino, Excalibur Hotel & Casino, The Signature at MGM Grand, Luxor Hotel & Casino, Mandalay Bay, and NoMad Las Vegas.

Travelers are advised to check parking policies online in advance or consider using rideshare services to avoid parking fees.
