Nashville, TN – Detectives are investigating two trespassing incidents on the campus of Covenant Church in Nashville and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man seen in surveillance footage.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the most recent incident occurred early Tuesday around 1 a.m., when campus security cameras captured a man in a hooded sweatshirt carrying a camera while walking outside the building. Investigators say the man appeared to take photos and selfies near the church before leaving toward a wooded area.

Police believe the same individual was involved in an earlier incident just after midnight on December 26, when a man carrying a camera entered the church building through an unsecured door. That time, the suspect allegedly walked through the church until triggering an alarm, then immediately fled the scene.

Authorities have released several images from surveillance footage showing the individual and are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.

The Covenant Church campus has increased surveillance following the incidents. Police continue to investigate whether the same person may have returned multiple times in recent weeks.
