Nashville, TN – A 37-year-old Nashville man was fatally shot during a robbery early Sunday outside his friend’s apartment on Patricia Drive. The incident occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m., with four suspects reportedly involved in the crime.
According to the victim’s friend, they were outside the apartment when approached by the suspects, who were described as Black men. The suspects demanded their belongings, and when the victim resisted, one of the assailants shot him in the stomach. The suspects then shoved the friend to the ground, threatening to kill him if he moved.
They took the victim’s wallet, passport, Guatemalan ID, and cash before fleeing on foot. The wounded man was rushed to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect who shot the victim is described as approximately 5’6” tall and in his mid-20s. He had short hair around his ears and neck, longer on top. Another suspect, who threatened the friend, appeared to be in his mid-30s, with a long beard and standing about 5’8” tall.
