Naperville, IL – Two Naperville residents accused in a pair of armed robberies on March 20 have been denied pre-trial release and will remain in custody until their April court dates.
According to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin, Max Bosco, 26, and Emily Frasca, 24, allegedly robbed a Lisle convenience store and attempted to rob a woman at knifepoint at a Naperville bank ATM. Authorities say the incidents occurred within 20 minutes of each other, beginning around 5:32 p.m.
Naperville police responded to Bank of America on Ogden Avenue after a masked man, later identified as Bosco, allegedly approached a woman during a transaction, brandished a knife, and demanded money. The victim canceled the transaction and drove off. Minutes later, Bosco and Frasca allegedly robbed Quick Stop Pantry in Lisle, stealing $479.
Police took the pair into custody later that evening. When Frasca was booked into jail, officers reportedly found the stolen cash hidden in her bra.
Bosco and Frasca face charges of Armed Robbery (Class X Felony) and Attempt Armed Robbery (Class 1 Felony). Bosco’s next court appearance is April 14, while Frasca is due back April 21. Both hearings will take place before Judge Daniel Guerin.
Officials emphasized that no victims were physically harmed during the incidents.
