Naperville, IL – A candlelit concert featuring string quartet renditions of iconic 1980s rock songs will take place in Naperville this June to support Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet.
According to an announcement from Catholic Charities, the event will be held Friday, June 27, at St. Margaret Mary Parish, located at 1450 Green Trails Drive. Titled the “Candlelight Concert,” the performance promises a unique experience of live music under the glow of thousands of candles. The show will feature classical versions of hits from Journey, Eurythmics, Bon Jovi, Survivor and others, performed by a professional string quartet.
The evening will begin with an optional cocktail hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., which includes a personal charcuterie and a glass of wine. The concert itself will run from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. General admission is $40, with the cocktail hour available for an additional $20.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet, supporting their outreach and assistance programs across the region.
