Mountain Home, AR – A Flippin man faces charges after allegedly sending a threatening message to Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin. Authorities said the incident took place in July when a message was sent via the Attorney General’s office’s Facebook Messenger account.

The Arkansas Attorney General’s Office requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division in August to investigate the threat. According to ASP, their investigation led to an arrest warrant for Jeffrey Roger Pyzocha, 39, of Flippin.

On September 5, 2024, ASP agents arrested Pyzocha in Mountain Home. He was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center. His bond was set at $25,000.

According to Arkansas law, first-degree terroristic threatening is a Class D felony, which involves a person making threats to commit violent acts. Authorities are continuing their investigation, but no further details have been released regarding the nature of the threat or any potential further charges.
