Washington Township, OH – Deputies from the Washington Township Substation responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of a pedestrian struck at the intersection of Far Hills Road and North Village Drive in Montgomery County.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred when a juvenile driver turned left from North Village Drive onto southbound Far Hills Road and allegedly struck a 56-year-old man who was crossing east to west in the marked crosswalk.

The man was conscious and breathing when medics arrived and was transported to a local hospital by Washington Township emergency crews. He is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

The driver, identified as a juvenile, was cited and released to guardians. Authorities confirmed that no other injuries were reported.
