According to the National Weather Service in Kansas City, dry conditions will persist through the weekend into early next week. Winds will remain calm, and skies will clear by Sunday night, offering a mostly clear evening with lows around 22 degrees. Monday begins a noticeable warming trend, with highs reaching 45 degrees, increasing to 50 degrees by Tuesday under sunny skies.

Roadways, including major routes like I-70 and US-71, will stay dry this weekend, making travel ideal for errands or recreational outings. Residents are encouraged to bundle up Sunday as temperatures will feel cooler due to a light north wind.

The warming pattern will continue midweek, with highs near 47 degrees Wednesday and minimal precipitation chances until late next week. A chance of rain returns Friday, with early forecasts predicting a 40% chance of showers.

The extended forecast points to a mix of seasonal and warmer-than-usual temperatures through Thursday. Drivers should remain aware of late-week precipitation forecasts that could impact roadways.
