St. Louis, MO – Missouri residents are watching the skies as St. Louis approaches its wettest November on record. With only 0.68 inches needed to surpass the 1985 total of 9.95 inches, forecasters predict at least two more chances for rain before month’s end.

According to the National Weather Service, Lambert International Airport recorded 0.41 inches of rainfall on Monday, pushing the November total to 9.28 inches—the second-highest in city history. While skies will remain clear Tuesday and Wednesday, models suggest possible rain Sunday or Monday.

Tuesday’s high will reach 66 degrees, with sunny skies and gusty winds from the southwest up to 20 mph. Overnight lows will drop to 44 degrees as clouds increase. On Wednesday, temperatures will peak at 52 degrees, and gusts of up to 31 mph will make conditions cooler.

By Thursday, highs will dip to 44 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Friday’s forecast shows slightly warmer conditions with a high near 47, leading into a mostly sunny Saturday, where temperatures will climb to 50. Rain chances return Sunday and Monday, with cooler highs in the upper 50s.

St. Louis drivers should stay alert for potential rainfall impacting visibility and road conditions on major highways like I-70 and I-64. Stay tuned to local forecasts for updates on rainfall and possible records.
