Jamestown, SC – Minor flooding along the Santee River near Jamestown remains ongoing, with water levels slightly above flood stage, prompting a continued flood warning from the National Weather Service (NWS) in Charleston.

According to the NWS, the river stage measured 12.1 feet as of 9:30 a.m. Friday, surpassing the flood stage of 10.0 feet. Water levels are forecast to gradually recede, reaching approximately 11.4 feet by Wednesday morning.

Flooding at this level is expected to impact several dirt logging roads, making them impassable. Residents in low-lying areas should remain cautious and monitor local conditions. The NWS will provide updates as conditions change.
