Minnesota Weather: Thunderstorms Friday, Clear Skies This Weekend

Twin Cities, MN – Rain showers and thunderstorms will persist throughout Friday morning, with additional storms possible this afternoon and evening. The best chance for thunderstorms is in southern Minnesota, according to the US National Weather Service Twin Cities.

The weather service predicts temperatures today will range between 70-80°F, with a low of 55-65°F tonight. The weekend promises a change, with clearing skies on Saturday and highs of 65-75°F. Sunday is expected to be sunny with temperatures reaching 70-75°F.

Monday will bring another round of rain and possible thunderstorms, with highs of 70-75°F and lows between 55-65°F. Tuesday continues the trend of potential rain, but clear skies are expected to return by Wednesday.

Wind speeds today will be around 14 mph, with gusts up to 34 mph. The air quality index is 28, rated as good, and similar to the previous day.
