Snow is expected Wednesday afternoon into the night, with accumulations likely impacting travel on major routes, including I-35 and Highway 53.
By Thursday, temperatures will begin to climb, offering relief from the arctic blast. Highs near 21°F are expected, with sunny skies providing a break from the bitter cold. Friday and Saturday will see highs reaching the low 20s, though breezy conditions may still create minor wind chills.
Residents are urged to dress in layers, wear hats and gloves, and limit outdoor exposure. If traveling, be cautious of icy roads and reduced visibility due to snow flurries expected midweek. Warmer weather is forecasted by the weekend, with temperatures nearing 38°F by Monday.
