Otter Tail County, MN – A semi-truck veered off an overpass and plummeted to a road below after a crash involving two big rigs on Interstate 94 Wednesday morning, officials said.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision occurred near the County Road 10 overpass in Otter Tail County. One of the semis went off the interstate, slid down an embankment, and landed on the county road below, resulting in dramatic damage to the vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that all individuals involved survived the crash and avoided serious injuries, largely due to seat belt use. Emergency crews responded to the scene and assessed both drivers.
Photos released by the Minnesota State Patrol show the semi-truck mangled beneath the overpass, highlighting the severity of the incident. The trailer of the vehicle was nearly vertical against the embankment wall, while the cab appeared heavily damaged and partially overturned.
The crash caused delays along the highway and the county road below while crews worked to remove the wreckage and investigate the scene. Officials have not released the names of those involved or any further details about the cause of the crash.
