Duluth, MN – A heat advisory remains in effect for Duluth and surrounding areas, with sweltering temperatures forecast for Monday and Tuesday. The heat index is expected to reach the mid-90s Monday, with some areas feeling as hot as 100 degrees.

Tuesday will bring a potential break in the heat with highs around 72 degrees, but the weather remains unsettled. According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, scattered showers and isolated severe storms are possible throughout the day. The week will continue to be active, with cooler temperatures on Wednesday, as highs drop to the mid-60s. Thursday may see another round of showers, with a 55% chance of rain and highs in the low 70s.
