Duluth, MN – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning, bringing up to 7 inches of snow across parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

According to the National Weather Service in Duluth, snowfall will begin around 3 PM Wednesday in Minnesota and 6 PM in Wisconsin, impacting several counties, including Crow Wing, St. Louis, Itasca, and Carlton in Minnesota and Bayfield, Ashland, and Sawyer in Wisconsin. Tribal lands, including the St. Croix Band, Red Cliff Band, and Bad River Reservation, are also within the advisory zone.

Minnesota:3 to 7 inches, with higher amounts near the North Shore and Boundary Waters.

Wisconsin:2 to 5 inches, including Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
