Duluth, MN – A strong winter storm is set to hit northern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin late Wednesday, bringing heavy snow, gusty winds, and dangerous travel conditions. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, warning of 3 to 6 inches of snowfall and wind gusts up to 35 mph.

Drivers should prepare for slippery roads and reduced visibility, especially on I-35 and Highway 53. Snowfall will be heaviest overnight, creating hazardous conditions for the Thursday morning commute. Officials urge caution on the roads and recommend delaying unnecessary travel.
