Milwaukee Fire Department Hosts October Blood Drive: Save Lives by Donating

Milwaukee, WI — Milwaukee residents are encouraged to participate in the upcoming blood drive hosted by the Milwaukee Fire Department. The event, set for Tuesday, October 22, will take place at the Milwaukee Safety Academy. Donors are invited to give blood between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, blood donations are essential to saving lives, and the need for donations never ends. The blood drive will be held at 6680 N. Teutonia Ave, Room 182. Donors can sign up for a time slot through the American Red Cross website or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS.

To expedite the donation process, participants can use the RapidPass system. By completing the pre-donation questionnaire online, donors can save time during the visit, needing only to bring their emailed pass. Those who donate blood in October will also be entered for a chance to win a $5,000 gift card.
