Millsboro Teens Face Felony Charges After Multiple Burglaries at Local Produce Market

Millsboro, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested two teenagers from Millsboro in connection with multiple burglaries at a local business. The incidents occurred at Poppy’s Produce on Long Neck Road. Troopers responded to a burglary call at the business on August 17, 2024. They found that the suspects had damaged a gate, entered the business, and stolen items from a beverage refrigerator. The teens allegedly struck again on August 19 and August 26.

Through investigations, detectives identified a 15-year-old and a 13-year-old as suspects. On August 28, the teens turned themselves in at Troop 4. They face charges including third-degree burglary, conspiracy, theft, and criminal mischief. Each was arraigned and released to their guardians.
