Current forecasts do not indicate a significant severe weather or flooding threat, although outdoor plans could be interrupted by periods of rain. Rain chances remain elevated Saturday before tapering Sunday.
By early next week, summer heat and humidity return across Middle Tennessee. Highs are expected to climb into the mid to upper 90s in the Nashville area by Sunday and Monday, with only isolated afternoon rain chances.
