Washington, D.C. – Rain across the Baltimore–Washington corridor will taper off by midday Wednesday as a cold front sweeps through the region, ushering in clear skies and comfortable conditions for the 4th of July holiday.

Highs today will range from 78 to 86°F, with drier air settling in this evening. Overnight lows will fall to the low 60s across rural areas and hover near 70°F in urban zones.

By Thursday, temperatures will climb into the low 80s to near 90°F under mostly sunny skies — ideal for early celebrations. No rain is expected during fireworks displays across Baltimore, D.C., and surrounding suburbs.
