Detroit, MI – A beautiful stretch of fall weather continues across southeast Michigan, with sunshine and mild temperatures expected through Tuesday before a shift to wet conditions later in the week, according to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac.
Forecasters report sunny skies today with highs between 55°F and 59°F, and easterly winds gusting up to 25 mph during the afternoon. Wednesday will remain partly sunny and slightly cooler, with highs in the mid-50s.
Rain chances return Thursday, with a 40–60% chance of showers spreading across the region as a weak frontal system moves through. Friday may see lingering light rain before a gradual cooldown heading into the weekend.
The National Weather Service says the upcoming pattern marks the return of typical late-October weather, featuring breezy winds, scattered rain, and cooler days in the 50s by week’s end.
