Marquette, MI – Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop over western Upper Michigan this morning, expanding into central and eastern regions by afternoon and evening. According to the US National Weather Service in Marquette, brief but heavy downpours are anticipated, tapering off later this evening. Another round of storms is possible Tuesday afternoon, particularly in far western and central Upper Michigan.

Today’s temperatures will range from 77 to 84 degrees, with overnight lows dropping to 59 to 66 degrees. This evening brings a slight chance of thunderstorms. Tuesday’s forecast predicts scattered thunderstorms in central and far western areas, with highs between 75 and 88 degrees, particularly warm in the southern central region.

The extended forecast for Marquette shows mostly cloudy conditions today, with a 55% chance of rain and a high near 80 degrees. Tuesday will be partly sunny with highs around 79 degrees. By Wednesday, expect mostly sunny skies and a high of 81 degrees. Thursday and Friday will see partly cloudy conditions with temperatures ranging from 77 to 79 degrees.

The weekend looks promising with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s, providing a respite from the midweek storms. Sunday will remain clear with highs around 70 degrees.
