Lansing, MI – Michigan State Police (MSP), in partnership with Kroger, will deliver 200 Thanksgiving meals to families across central and southeast Michigan this week. Each meal kit includes a turkey and traditional sides, feeding four to six people.
MSP has collaborated with Kroger for years, delivering more than 1,800 meals to families experiencing food insecurity. “This Thanksgiving, let’s keep supporting our neighbors in need,” said Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
Participating MSP posts include Lansing, Jackson, Monroe, Brighton, Metro South, and more. Local schools and community organizations helped identify recipients.
This collaboration ensures hundreds of families enjoy a meaningful Thanksgiving with loved ones, reinforcing the importance of community unity.
