Detroit, MI – A stretch of mild spring weather will bring sunshine and warming temperatures to Southeast Michigan, but rain is on the horizon by the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high of 45°F, while Thursday will bring more sunshine and a high of 53°F. Winds will be light out of the east at 6 to 10 mph. Warmer temperatures will settle in by Friday, with highs reaching 65°F before clouds and rain move in late that night.

Overnight lows will drop to the mid-30s to lower 50s throughout the week, making for cool but comfortable evenings. Friday night into Saturday morning could see rain, particularly along major roadways like I-94 and I-75, potentially affecting early weekend travel.

Looking ahead, Saturday is expected to be cloudy with rain likely between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., with highs near 69°F. The weekend wraps up with a chance of rain Sunday and cooler temperatures returning Monday, with highs in the upper 40s.

Motorists should be prepared for wet roads Saturday and stay updated on potential changes in the forecast. Warmer temperatures ahead signal spring’s arrival, but Michigan’s unpredictable weather keeps conditions subject to change.
