Marshall, MI – Authorities in Calhoun County are investigating a case of larceny and malicious destruction of property after several golf carts were reportedly stolen and damaged at a local campground.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place Saturday at Tri-Lake Trails Campground. Deputies say that multiple privately owned golf carts were unlawfully removed from the premises and later found damaged and abandoned in various parts of the campground and its surrounding areas.
Investigators noted that both surveillance footage and witness accounts have yielded initial leads, but the search continues to identify those responsible. The sheriff’s office is calling on the public for assistance in gathering further information on the suspects involved.
