Detroit, MI – Dense fog is causing hazardous travel conditions along and north of Interstate 69 this morning. Motorists are facing reduced visibility, especially in Michigan’s Thumb region.
According to the National Weather Service in Detroit, visibility has dropped to a quarter mile or less in affected areas. The advisory, issued early Tuesday morning, remains in effect until 9 a.m. EDT. Motorists are urged to slow down and allow extra travel time.
The fog is expected to clear by late morning, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching the low 80s by the afternoon. According to the forecast, warm and dry weather will persist through Friday, with temperatures remaining in the mid-80s.
