Oakland County, Mich. – A Rochester Hills doctor has been charged with 17 additional felonies for allegedly assaulting a 5-year-old girl. Dr. Omair Aejaz, 40, is accused of committing multiple sexual assaults in 2023 and 2024. He was arraigned Thursday, and a judge ordered him held without bond.

According to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, Aejaz has faced prior felony charges for recording nude images of women and children over six years. The investigation uncovered hidden cameras at hospitals, recording rooms, and homes. Detectives believe Aejaz targeted children as young as two.

The latest charges include first-degree and second-degree criminal sexual conduct, and child sexually abusive activity. Aejaz used a computer to record images, police said. Authorities are still identifying additional victims. Aejaz’s devices held over 13,000 videos.

Bouchard urged anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s office, as investigators continue their search for more victims. A preliminary hearing is set for October 23.
