According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will remain below freezing for most of the week, with lows dipping into the single digits. A chance of snow showers will persist through Wednesday, bringing slick roads and hazardous travel conditions. Winds from the northwest will gust up to 35 mph, making temperatures feel even colder.

Five-Day Forecast for Southeast Michigan:

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high of 17°F, wind chills near -7°F.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, high of 19°F, increasing snow chances at night.

Thursday: Snow possible early, high of 24°F, low of 12°F.

Friday: Partly sunny, high of 28°F.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, high near 27°F.

Residents should limit time outdoors, dress in layers, and ensure pets are kept warm. Drivers should remain cautious on icy roads, especially overnight.
