BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland residents can expect a mix of sunshine and increasing temperatures this weekend, but rain will return by late Sunday. After a breezy Friday, conditions will warm up on Saturday before showers develop across the region to start the workweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will be sunny with highs near 58°F. Winds from the northwest at 18-20 mph, with gusts up to 37 mph, will make the day feel cooler. By Friday night, temperatures will drop to the upper 30s as clouds increase.

Saturday brings a warmer trend, with partly sunny skies and highs around 64°F. Winds will shift from the southwest, increasing to 16 mph with gusts near 29 mph. Saturday night will remain mostly clear, with lows in the upper 30s.

Sunday will continue the warming trend, reaching a high of 56°F under mostly sunny skies. However, clouds will build throughout the day, leading to a 60% chance of showers Sunday night, mainly after 2 a.m.

Rain will persist into Monday, with a 60% chance of showers and highs near 67°F. Monday night will see lingering showers before clearing out, leaving partly cloudy skies and lows in the mid-40s.

Looking ahead, Tuesday and Wednesday will see a mix of sun and clouds, with highs in the low 60s and overnight lows in the 40s.

Drivers along I-95 should prepare for wet road conditions Sunday night into Monday. Residents should take advantage of the dry and mild conditions on Saturday before rain moves in to start the week.
