Manteno, IL – Manteno will host a lively Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 7, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event promises holiday cheer with entertainment, shopping, and family-friendly activities.
The Holiday Market, held in the North Main Street parking lot, will showcase unique artisan crafts, perfect for holiday gifts. Santa Claus will greet visitors at the Square on 2nd Street starting at 4 p.m.
Festivities include a performance by the MHS Jazz Band at 3 p.m. and a grand entrance by Santa, accompanied by Dance Alive! Dance Studio, at 4 p.m. The MHS Chamber Choir will perform at 4:30 p.m., followed by the downtown Christmas lighting ceremony at 4:45 p.m. The evening concludes with a spectacular holiday drone show at 7:30 p.m.
Guests can stroll along Christmas Tree Lane, which runs through January 5, and enjoy sleigh rides, ornament crafting, and caroling from The Chicago Carolers. The Jingle Bell Business Stroll begins at 4 p.m., inviting attendees to shop local businesses and enjoy holiday treats.
