Rain will continue Tuesday night, becoming heavy at times, especially between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. South winds will persist at 6 to 9 mph, pushing more humid air into the region.
Locals should prepare for limited visibility, slippery roads, and patchy fog overnight Tuesday. Power outages from lightning or wind gusts are possible in rural communities like Houlton and Millinocket.
