By Friday, a noticeable shift arrives. Temperatures will stay cooler, between 78–83°F, under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Friday night will feel refreshingly cool with lows from 57°F in northern counties to 65°F further south. The dry pattern continues into the weekend, with partly cloudy skies Saturday and Sunday and highs climbing slightly into the low to mid-80s.
Drivers are advised to use caution on wet roads tonight, especially in southern and central counties like Russell Springs and Campbellsville, where storms may linger longest. Residents should check weather alerts if traveling near storm-prone areas this evening.
Storm activity will fully exit by early Friday, with no additional watches expected for the weekend.
