Jefferson Davis Parish, LA – Louisiana State Police detectives have recovered $150,000 worth of stolen ATVs and arrested a suspect in a multi-state theft case.
The investigation began December 12 after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office in Texas responded to HE Powersports in Henrietta, reporting five ATVs stolen overnight. Authorities identified a suspect living in Louisiana and requested assistance from state police.
On December 14, detectives arrested Jamarcus Dwayne Williams, 31, of Iota, Louisiana. Williams allegedly possessed the stolen ATVs and a 40-foot flatbed trailer worth $30,000 used in the crime.
Williams faces five counts of illegal possession of stolen property in Louisiana and additional charges in Texas. All stolen property has been recovered.
