JOLIET, IL – East Joliet Fire Protection District responded to a three-vehicle motor vehicle accident Saturday afternoon at Loganberry and Laraway Rd.
One of the vehicles was a van that crashed into a person’s property. Another vehicle involved in the accident had its top shredded off and scattered across the roadway. Despite the severity of the collision, the vehicle came to a rest right side up.
Company 51 and 52 were on the scene just before 4 p.m. The accident prompted the request for Joliet Ambulance 3 to transport the third patient to the hospital. Authorities have yet to release details regarding the injuries sustained by those involved.
Debris from the accident was spread across the area, making it difficult for traffic to pass through.
