Trio of Kankakee Teens charged with Clifton Vehicle Burglaries, Gun Charges

CLIFTON – Three Kankakee teens have been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries occurring overnight in town.

The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Department announced the arrest of Davon A. Hodges, 19 of Kankakee along with two unnamed minors, ages 17 and 16, also from Kankakee.

Reports say the trio was also allegedly responsible for a series of burglaries at Iroquois Mobile Estates Mobile Home Park in Chebanse.  They now multiple charges including Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Residential Burglary, Unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition, and possession of a stolen firearm. 

Officers are asking any residents that may have video footage of the incidents on tape to contact Iroquois County Detectives.  

The trio remains in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
