Little Rock, AR – A warm and mostly dry pattern will dominate Arkansas through midweek, with overnight lows in the 50s and daytime highs climbing into the upper 70s and 80s, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Little Rock.
The NWS reports that an amplified upper ridge will expand into the Southern Plains through Wednesday, keeping skies mostly clear and rainfall chances near zero. Monday morning will start off cool, with lows in the lower to mid-50s statewide before a steady warmup through the week.
According to NWS guidance, little to no rainfall is expected over the next five days as a large-scale high-pressure system suppresses cloud formation and precipitation. Cities such as Little Rock, Hot Springs, and Conway will see highs near 85°F by Thursday, while Fayetteville and Fort Smith could reach the low 80s.
The pattern is expected to shift by the weekend, when a cold front and upper-level trough move into the region. The front could bring unsettled weather, including rain and the potential for isolated strong storms, though timing and severity remain uncertain.
Residents are advised to stay updated through the week as forecasts refine toward Friday and Saturday.
