Lisle, IL – A $250,000 infrastructure improvement project on the Community Park Pedestrian Safety Canopy along Burlington Avenue is scheduled to start Monday. The project includes replacing deteriorated concrete, installing a steel safety canopy, and restoring the area with new landscaping.
According to the Village of Lisle, the construction will involve traffic and sidewalk closures, with completion expected by late November 2024. Pedestrians are advised to avoid the area beneath the BNSF railroad tracks during the construction period.
