North Fort Myers, FL – Four people were arrested Wednesday night after Lee County deputies say they unexpectedly walked into an alleged drug deal while searching for a wanted person in a North Fort Myers neighborhood.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were looking for a wanted individual on Hart Drive when they approached an RV parked in a driveway with its door open and lights on. Deputies intended to ask whether the occupants had seen the wanted person but instead allegedly found the group in the middle of a drug transaction.

Body camera footage released by the sheriff’s office shows multiple baggies containing suspected drugs near one suspect’s feet, authorities said.

During a search of the RV, deputies reportedly found 116 grams of methamphetamine, along with fentanyl residue, pills, syringes, and glass pipes, according to the sheriff’s office.

Robert Braithing was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, deputies said.

Tyler Brown was charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to authorities.

Two additional suspects, Joshua Clark and Tiffani Glover, were arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, deputies reported.

No injuries were reported during the arrests. Investigators did not say whether the wanted individual deputies were originally searching for was located.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are possible. All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
