Lane County, OR – A man was found dead following a shooting incident on Monday, August 19, in the area north of Coburg. Lane County Sheriff’s deputies, alongside Oregon State Police, Coburg Police, and Linn County Sheriff’s deputies, responded to the report of a shooting around 3 p.m. in the 33000 block of Coleman Road.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a male victim who had succumbed to a gunshot wound. The incident prompted a swift response from detectives who began interviewing local residents to gather information. The investigation remains active, with authorities working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. However, officials have assured the public that there is no ongoing danger in the area.
