Cedar Creek Township, IN – A 19-year-old woman lost her life in a motor vehicle accident on Saturday. Authorities identified the deceased as Grace C. McBride of Crown Point. She was involved in a collision at the intersection of Route 2 and Harrison Street.

McBride was declared dead at the scene. The Lake County Coroner’s Office reported she sustained multiple blunt force injuries. A forensic autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Multiple agencies, including Indiana State Police and local fire departments, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
