Beach Park, IL – A Wisconsin teen was arrested early Wednesday after an attempted burglary at a gas station in Beach Park, Illinois.
According to police reports a Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy noticed suspicious activity around 1:30 a.m. near the 38500 block of North Sheridan Road. Upon further investigation, the deputy saw a suspect attempting to kick in the gas station’s front glass door. The deputy quickly intervened, apprehending Anya Latrice Taylor, 19, of Racine, Wisconsin.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor was charged with attempted burglary, criminal damage to property, and resisting a peace officer. Taylor was later released under pre-trial conditions after her court appearance. Her next court date is scheduled for November 19, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.
