Lake County, IN – Motorists should prepare for traffic pattern changes as the Indiana Department of Transportation announces ramp closures at I-65 and Ridge Road for fiber optic work.
According to the official notice, starting on or after March 20, closures will affect the southbound I-65 to Ridge Rd ramp and Ridge Rd to the I-94 eastbound to I-65 southbound off-ramp. No closures or restrictions are planned for mainline I-65.
The work is scheduled to continue through April, with the ramp from Ridge Rd to northbound I-65 closing on or after April 1st. Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes and expect potential delays.
