East Chicago, IN – A 12-year-old student from Block Jr. High School faces felony charges after allegedly posting a threatening message on Instagram. The message, posted on August 26, read, “Who wanna blow up Block with me?” and referenced the school directly.

Police arrived at Block Jr. High School after a school administrator reported the social media threat. Authorities identified the juvenile involved, leading to an immediate suspension from school.
