Cleveland, OH – Thunderstorms are expected in Cleveland this afternoon and evening as residents prepare for Labor Day weekend. The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts that the strongest storms will develop across the eastern half of the area, especially along and east of I-71.
According to the NWS, the chance of precipitation today ranges from 60% to 80%. Saturday’s high temperatures will reach between 78°F and 84°F, with lows ranging from 58°F to 65°F. Sunday’s weather will be mostly dry with highs between 78°F and 85°F, though some lake effect clouds are possible.
Labor Day itself will be cooler, with highs between 67°F and 75°F and lows as cool as 43°F. No precipitation is expected Monday. Cooler than normal temperatures will likely persist throughout the day, providing a pleasant end to the holiday weekend.
