Knox County, IL – An 85-year-old Galesburg man died in a single-vehicle crash Monday evening in Knox County. The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. on Knox Highway 23 at Knox Road 50 East.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was traveling east on Knox Highway 23 when his black 2024 Subaru left the roadway on the south side. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is ongoing.
