King County, WA – Deputies with the King County Sheriff’s Office say a large-scale narcotics investigation led to four arrests and the seizure of over $1.3 million worth of drugs allegedly tied to the Sinaloa Cartel.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Precinct 4’s Special Emphasis Team (SET) carried out “Operation Eastbound and Down” after a months-long investigation revealed a supplier distributing more than 100 pounds of narcotics every few weeks across King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties.

Search warrants were executed in Bridgeport, Lynnwood, and Kirkland with the help of K9 Quinn. The seizures included 70.55 pounds of methamphetamine, 16 pounds of fentanyl powder, 6.83 pounds of heroin, 1.67 pounds of cocaine, a handgun, and more than $83,000 in cash believed to be drug proceeds.

Deputies say one vehicle used to distribute narcotics was also confiscated. The approximate street value of the seized drugs totals $1.3 million.

Authorities credited the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance during the operation. The suspects, whose names have not yet been released, were taken into custody and face multiple felony charges related to narcotics distribution.
