PADUCAH, KY – After a cool start to the week, Kentucky is in for a warm and sunny Tuesday before unsettled weather arrives midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday, March 18, will bring sunny skies and a high of 73°F in Paducah. South-southwest winds will increase throughout the day, reaching 15 mph, with gusts up to 28 mph. Overnight, clouds will build, with a low around 57°F.

By Wednesday, spring showers will return. There’s a 50% chance of rain after 1 p.m., with breezy conditions and gusts reaching 34 mph. Wednesday night could see lingering rain chances at 30%, with temperatures dipping to 38°F.

Thursday will feel cooler, with highs around 54°F under mostly sunny skies. Winds from the northwest will keep conditions breezy. Overnight lows will drop to 33°F with clearing skies.

Looking ahead, spring officially begins Thursday, March 20, and the weekend will see fluctuating temperatures. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 63°F, followed by increasing rain chances Friday night into Saturday. Highs will stay near the upper 60s.
