Jackson, KY – Spring officially begins this Thursday, and Kentucky is getting an early taste of it with a warm Tuesday ahead. Temperatures will climb into the 70s under sunny skies before a shift in the weather pattern brings rain and storms midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 72°F. Winds will be calm in the morning before shifting to the south at 6 mph later in the day. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy with temperatures dipping to 48°F.

By Wednesday, highs will reach 76°F, but clouds will increase throughout the day. Showers and thunderstorms are expected late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, with an 80% chance of rain. Some storms may be strong, so residents should stay updated on weather alerts.

Thursday will bring more rain, mainly before 3 p.m., with a high near 51°F. By Thursday night, rain chances drop to 10%, and skies will turn partly cloudy with a low of 31°F.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Friday will be sunny with a high of 58°F, followed by a chance of showers Saturday with temperatures in the low 60s. Sunday will be partly sunny with a slight chance of rain.
